Welcome to Planet Rock !!!
Planet Rock is where I express my music views and reviews !
Liam Gallagher

Oasis the 1990's best band ?

Oasis are a Fivesome again. The new line-up is Liam Gallagher (lead vocals), Noel Gallagher (Lead Guitar), Gem (Rhythem Guitar), Andy Bell (Bass Guitar) and Alan White (Drums). The latest new band member Andy Bell was formally in Rides and Hurricane #1 and had just joined Gay Dad but he said. "Oasis have always been an insperation". Gem was formally in a band called Heavy Stereo. I recently got hold of "Don't go away" on single. It cost £16 but was the last single i had to get now I have every Oasis CD. Noel Gallagher said about the new line up. "The good ship Oasis has a new crew and we'll soon hoist the jolly rodger". The futures looking bright for the worlds best band as they plan to release the single "go let it out" and the album "stadning on the shoulder of giants" early next year..

So get voting. And look out for the results soon.

Chris Makin has nothing to do with Rock music I just didn't have a good picture.

U2 news. Every week on the greatest band on god's (bono) earth !!

U2 are preparing to release their next album "infinity" in early part of the year 2000. Bono has hinted that it could be his last. Bono is also campaigning for Net aid and has recently released "new day" a song with Wyclef Jean of Fugees' fame. If you have any U2 news please pass it on to me and i'll put it up on screen next week. Also I'm looking for what you think are U2's all time top ten greatest tunes see above.

What's the story(Shite or Glory!)? This time Oasis "Don't Go Away"

I just got hold of this import from Japan and this is the last single I had to get. Now I have all 17 Oasis CD's. It cost £15.99 but im glad i got it. "don't go away" is the same as the "be here now" version but its still sounds fresh. Track two is a live version of "cigerettes and alcohol" which will blow you away. Track three is "sad song" previously only available on the vinyl version of "Definetely Maybe" and it too sounds great while last but not least is a new version of "Fade Away" and its beautiful. All in all a perfect single.

Other News !!!

Isn't music shit at the moment full of crap teenybopper bands like Steps. Please buy good music and stop the rot of the charts.
